"Imagination can improve the world"

This song was written in 1971 by John Lennon. I consider this song to be one of the most motivational I´ve heard.

In this song, Lennon purposes to imagine a reality where there are no major factors that cause conflicts such as religions, countries or money.

When he talks about religions, the message he wants to convey is that nowadays, people don´t live in the present and just worry about what will come next... if there are a paradise and hell.

There is a part of the song where the singer says that nations have always been the biggest reason for wars. In this stanza it makes us imagine a world where there are no countries, borders or limitations.

In the chorus, Lennon says he is not the only one who dreams f a "perfect world". He knows that are more people like him and if all of these people would come together, they could build a better world.

The core message of the song is that "imagination can improve the world". As much one thing may seem unreachable, the first step is to think that it will be possible. And there is no trouble being a dreamer...
